Monthly News Update

July 2006

David Sandeman, Managing Director Welcome to the July newsletter giving a summary of the results for June 2006. As predicted in the last newsletter, June was a relatively quiet month ahead of the July rush. We are covering in July.

At the end of this newsletter are two interesting graphs showing the increase in the number of auction houses and the number of auctions that we have covered over the past 5 years.

Kind regards

Auctioneers and auctions covered by Essential Information Group
Initially when the company was started in 1990, we only covered the activities of London Auctioneers. However, in 1994 a program of covering all regional auctioneers commenced, starting with the larger ones and then focusing on the smaller auction houses. You will see from the graph how the number of auction houses and auctions we cover has dramatically increased as we find new auction houses.

In our search for new auction houses we scour over 40 local newspapers, search the web, are approached by auctioneers themselves and of course are advised of new ones by you, our clients.
