Welcome to the August newsletter highlighting auction activity in the month of July. In terms of auctions covered this was our busiest month ever with 171 property auctions being held. The number of lots offered also set new heights at 4,440 lots.
Whilst August is traditionally the holiday month, we are covering over 45 auctions that will be offering over 880 lots for sale. If you have just had a break from work I hope it was good and for those of you about to take a break, enjoy.
Kind regards

National Auction Analysis
July saw a small increase in the number of lots offered though the percentage down was down 5% on July last year at 70%. This is however a higher figure than May and June of this year. The same trends, though not so marked, are seen for the rolling quarter and year as well.

Regional Auction Analysis
Given the national trends for the rolling quarter, it is no surprise to see the majority of regions seeing an increase in the number of lots offered. The story is different though for regional sales rates and amounts raised. The North East still has sub 50% sales rates whilst the South East and South West are in the 70's - 80's.
