Indeed the amount raised for the rolling year March 06 to February 07 almost breaches the £6 Billion mark, up 28.5% on the previous year.

Regional Auction Analysis
With big increases in volumes nationally, it comes as no surprise that the trend was reflected through the regions. Notably, the number of lots offered and sold in the East Midlands was up around 80% but amount raised only up 4.5% indicating a smaller lot size. Whereas the converse was true for Yorkshire and The Humber. It should be remembered however that these figures are for one month only and a longer period would iron out any anomalies.
