At the bottom of the newsletter you will see two graphs showing the number of lots offered and amount raised over the last two years.

Essential Auction News
176 property auctions were held throughout the UK in September 2007. We will compare these results to those of September 2006. There is also a regional breakdown of statistics.

National Auction Analysis
The figure to note is that the "% sold" rate climbed from 60% last month to 66% this month. In addition the number of lots offered when compared with September 06 was up 19% to 4,300. The rolling quarter and year figure paint a similar picture with double digit 'lots offered' increases though 'lots sold' and 'amount raised' falling back in both the monthly and quarterly figures.

Graphs comparing auctions held and lots offered over last two years
From these graphs one can see the steady growth in both the number of auctions held and the number of lots offered over the last two years. The average increase year on year for the number of auctions held has been 26% whilst lots offered has been 19%. This trend would appear to be set to continue.
